This PVC Sheet dedicated crusher is a powerful size reduction solution developed specifically for rigid Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) sheets, plates, pipes, and profiles. The main body is constructed with heavy-duty steel plate welding and undergoes stress-relief treatment to ensure exceptional stability and durability when processing high-hardness materials. Recognizing the brittle nature and high impact resistance of PVC sheets, we have engineered a rotor with a V-shaped cutting technology. Paired with removable knives made of D2 tool steel, this design ensures smooth feeding, low dust generation, and high uniformity in the final output.
Material is fed into the crushing chamber via conveyor or manually. It is immediately sheared by the rotating knives on the rotor against the stationary knives mounted on the chamber. The specially designed water-cooled bearing housing effectively manages the heat generated during PVC crushing, significantly extending bearing life. An interchangeable screen at the bottom controls the output size, ensuring uniform particles (typically 20mm-50mm) that are ideal for subsequent washing, pelletizing, or direct reuse.

Q1: Can your crusher handle waste PVC windows with nails?
A1: Absolutely. The blade strength of our standard model is sufficient to cut through aluminum or steel nails. However, for large amounts of metal contamination, we strongly recommend adding a magnetic separator conveyor to automatically remove ferrous metals after crushing, protecting downstream equipment and increasing purity .
Q2: What if excessive heat during PVC crushing causes rapid blade wear?
A2: That is a key challenge. Our solution includes: 1. Standard water-cooling circulation ports on bearing housings; 2. A larger pulley inertia design to reduce impact heat; 3. An optional Titanium coating for blades to increase surface lubricity and reduce friction .
Q3: What if the output particle size is inconsistent?
A3: Output size is primarily determined by the screen. Please check if the screen is damaged. Also, ensure the blades are sharp and the gap between rotating and fixed blades is set between 0.3mm and 0.5mm.
